I want to take my laptop back to its original factory settings?

I have done this to wife's laptop and my desktop quite a few times.Turn off then turn on again whilst constantly tapping the F10 key.Your computer should then go to recovery mode, select Destructive Recovery and this will put your computer back to its factory settings.Hope this helps.
