Why cant i get girls?

im 14 and confused frustrated and more importantly depressed.. I cant get girls, right now im thnking its bcuz of my weight i have lost 33 lbs and havent seen any change in girls behavior towards me. ik alot of girls but i only know how to approach them in text n on facebook bcuz i have no self confidence in person. im afraid theyll feel awkward and walk away and make jokes wit friends. idk if its cuz im ugly or wat....girls r bitches....can anyone give me tidbits of girls? or how i should act around them. awhile back i just straight out flirted with all them...on facebook n text...i gave it up bcuz all my friends said how creepy it seemed but the girls just replied "awww thankya!:)" and ****..dont thnk i dont talk to chiks in person, i do np but idk how to flirt with them with confidence and no sense of fear of shutout. help guys?
