How to zero a scope on an air gun?

I have a Benjamin Trail NP air gun, the scope come with it is Center Point 3-9 X 40, When I was trying to zero the scope, I found out that the target point is still lower then the mid point in the scope and the scope can't turn the point lower any more. In this case what should I do?
