Why wouldn't the Judge allow the tapes Blago wanted in his defense?

There were 96 tapes and the judge only allowed 4 in the trial (The most harmful to the defense). I don't think that is what you call fair for the defense. Give me 96 tapes to pick and choose and only play certain parts (the most incremidating and you could make anyone look guilty.
