34 weeks and my Dr said he's gonna do a bacteria check what is that?

It's the Group B Strep test. Basically, they take a cotton swab and rub it around your vagina and anus to test for that bacteria. It's not really a big deal, and they only do it once. If you test positive, I think you have to be given IV antibiotics during delivery, but I always tested negative.
